Startup Profile: DwellAware

By November 14, 2014

DwellAware is San Diego’s prime real estate platform that seeks to push past the current limits placed on online home seekers as they scour the web for their perfect property.

As big data real estate crunchers sift through massive amount of information in order to analyze and pair prospective homebuyers with their perfect home, a gap is created when searches and requirements by users become more refined. It is this gap that DwellAware’s beta platform has been filling since its founding in 2013.

Through the platform’s Alpha web or mobile service, the user can analyze — on a hyper-local level — which property best suits each individual components they look to satisfy. Not only does the platform include the standard search parameters, but it facilitates the choices of its users by giving critical insights, such as the chosen home’s comfort, quality and even monthly costs, before a decisions is made.

Even with the growing housing demand and expanding online real estate market, many new and established search platforms have limited features that prevent users from reaching full satisfaction. These more refined parameters that homebuyers look for, as DwellAware has noted, go beyond just the physical location and state of the house.

With the exponential growth in online-real estate market, more and more people are turning to web based platforms to find their perfect homes. The limitations of these, however, place DwellAware’s platform at the forefront of the market, making it the most comprehensive real estate search systems in the country, ultimately improving the lifestyle of its users.

With Harvard Law School and Stanford University guest lecturer Storm Duncan at the helm, DwellAware seeks to push past the current limits placed on online home seekers as they scour the web for their perfect property.
